The Manitoba Chapter 99s International Women Pilots Association present Cold Weather Flying tips with Larry Brown

Larry Brown has more than 20,000 hours of flight experience over 40 years of flying all sorts of aircraft small and large. He loves winter flying and shared tips on safe winter flying, including: use of carb heat, how to dress, survival kits, flight planning, winter refueling, cleaning frost from flight surfaces, interlacing examples drawn from accidents and incidents...and more. It was fascinating and enlightening.

The next seminar in this new 99s series is on Search and Rescue signalling techniques on Dec 5th; In January we will have a session focused on Safety.
